Whenever i cut a tile it ends up having a very rough and jagged edge.

Then place the file on the edge about an inch from the tip and push downward in a single smooth stroke. As an alternative use a grinder with a diamond tile cutter wheel to cut the tile. Turn on the saw hold the tile rigidly against the tray slide it and let the blade cut the tile. It is recommended to not install pressed edge tile with less than a 1 8 grout line.

A rectified edge means the edges of the tile have been cut to ensure every tile is the same exact size no calibers. To make straight lines place the tile on the tray pulled away from the diamond blade. Just place your tile on a flat firm surface holding the end down with your non dominant hand.
