If you want to update your kitchen or bathroom walls with tiles you don t have to remove existing painted drywall to do so. Or prime and paint the entire wall room before starting with your tile project. Start by cleaning the wall to remove any grease then apply thin set adhesive and set the tile.

Prime the area to seal the new drywall.
