Ceramics 2 curriculum.

Starting in september i am running a 5 week online course that i have produced on my own called splendid ceramic surfaces. Ceramics 1 is all about learning about the basic principles of art through experiential learning through the media of clay. The level of assignments will be more challenging conceptual and require strong construction and technical knowledge. I decided to launch this ceramic surface workshop online as a complement to my book new ceramic surface design published in 2015 by quarry books.

Ceramics is an exploration in three dimensional design which develops an understanding of art elements and principles. Students will explore a variety of ceramic construction methods that include basic pottery skills and hand building methods. Technical skills are developed while creating works of art. 10 12 emphasis clarity and simplicity.
